About the Pattern

The Brioche Bias Cowl is knit flat in syncopated brioche stitch and then seamed. One of the great things about brioche is that it is a reversible fabric – there are two options for wearing it, with the back neck seam hidden or exposed.

I designed this in collaboration with La Mercerie, a modern yarn and haberdashery shop located on Bainbridge Island, WA. This is their free store (knitting) pattern for the Puget Sound LYS Tour 2024.

I hope you enjoy knitting and wearing this sweet little cowl!

Pattern PDF Versions

There are two versions available - the one that follows my standard pattern formatting, as well as a printer-friendly version. The printer-friendly version has the exact same instructions, but uses smaller font size and condenses the instructions down into fewer pages. The printer-friendly version is the physical pattern copy handed out to Puget Sound LYS Tour participants.
